Today, the children in Kayonza took a piece of my heart. I don't think I have ever experienced such joy and sadness in one setting. As Pastor Eddie said today, "I would give my life for you." And really, I would give my life for these people.
In their touch.. you see their longing for a deeper love.
In their actions.. you see how they love you.
In their words.. you see their gratitude.
And last but not least.. in their eyes, you meet Christ face to face.
Children of Kayonza- you are beautiful. And I will always be singing and dancing to Waka Waka with you. "Tsamina mina eh eh. Waka Waka eh eh. Tsamina mina zangalewa anawa aa. THIS IS RWANDA.."
Keep growing my heart Lord.
In You,
Nikki
Thank you for sharing the best you can with what you are experiencing. I know sometimes words fall so short of expressing the Lord's love and all that He shows us.
ReplyDeleteThe Lord puts us into cicumstances and situations that we finally have eyes to see and ear to hear. I will continue to pray that the whole team will not miss what He is trying to say.
Know that you are in our prayers.
